£200 deposit per week due on booking. Balance payable 6 weeks before commencement of holiday. Electronic payments can be made to NatWest sort code 53-50-46 for the credit of account no. 55565743 quoting your name as a reference. Cheques should be made payable to J & R Brett Cottage a/c. Please note that overdue balance payments may result in cancellation of your booking with no obligation to refund. Guests will be liable for any costs resulting from damage, extra cleaning or disregard of the booking conditions - guests will be billed if the costs exceed the value of the Good House Keeping Deposit.
Generally from Friday to Friday. Arrival after 4 p.m. Departure before 10 a.m.
Bookings are subject to written confirmation by us on receipt of a fully completed booking form together with a deposit of £200 per week or part week. The person who signs the booking form shall be liable for that booking and full payment for all guests named on the form. The cottage may not be occupied by persons other than those specified on the booking form.
Any cancellations shall be in writing and addressed to the owners. Holidaymakers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% if the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund. We would therefore recommend that you arrange your own insurance cover. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, you will be offered an alternative week or weeks of an equivalent value or a full refund. We do not offer compensation payments and bookings are made at your own risk.
Number of guests
No more than 4 guests shall be resident at any time.
The owner or their agents shall be allowed access at any time.
Care and maintenance
Guests shall maintain the accommodation, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and shall leave the cottage in the same state of cleanliness and general order as it was found. Smoking is strictly prohibited and whilst routine final cleaning and laundry is included for the specified guests, the owners shall be entitled to recover the cost (estimated if not precisely known) of any additional cleaning, laundry or damage caused by guests including the value of any consequential losses. Any damage or breakages must be reported to the owners or their agent at the time of the incident.
A good housekeeping deposit of £100 will be refunded in full within two weeks of departure providing the cottage is left in the same state as it was found.
One well-behaved dog or cat may be allowed by special arrangement at an additional charge of £45 and £25 per stay on condition that they comply with the same rules that we demand of our own pets:
They stay downstairs and are never allowed upstairs or on furniture.
They are not left unattended either in the cottage or in the yard outside.
The washer/dryer must not be used to wash dog beds.
They must enter through the back door to prevent muddy paws in the sitting room.
There is no sign of the pet evident in the property upon departure.
Boundary Cottage has a password protected wireless internet connection that is accessible throughout the property. We currently provide unlimited data free of charge.
